Poly-S™ Technology

Each Poly-S™ particle contains:

• A nitrogen core
• An initial layer of sulphur to regulate release
• A second layer of polymer to protect the particle and further regulate release by controlled diffusion

The release rate is determined by variations in the thickness of each layer: the thicker the layers, the slower the release rate.

This multiple coating system provides the following benefits:

• Controlled release rate
• Extended residual effects
• Less sensitivity to temperature
• Insensitivity to pH, excess moisture and differences in particle size
• No unreleased nitrogen or "lock-off"
• A consistent, predictable response
